Yesterday I cast on a new wip, I've been looking for something to make with a rather pretty variegated yarn from Michaels. Since I've been sitting here feeling a little chilly in the spring temperatures, it gets breezy here, and I begrudge turning the heating up while I'm alone in the house, and while sitting on the porch I need a little something I can just throw on around my shoulders, I decided I need a shrug.
This Kaya Cropped Shrug pattern I found on Ravelry seemed perfect. The colours are lovely, in my opinion anyway, ymmv, and I think this will be the perfect solution if I can knit it up quickly.
So far I have barely knit a few rows of this top down raglan shrug, but I think it will be just what I want.
The Demiluna Shawl is finished apart from the sewing in and the blocking, which will be done once I test out a swatch to make sure I don't ruin it when I gently steam it.
